The Hurricanes have had a pretty successful season so far, as they have a record of 16-8-1. However, they just lost th the Seattle Kraken 4-2 on Tuesday. That will probably provide them with a spark and make them hungrier to beat Colorado.
Avalanche coach Jared Bednar has a decision to make in terms of the team’s starting goaltender on Thursday, as Alexandar Georgiev allowed the four goals-against, and lasted until just the middle of the first period before being pulled for newly-acquired Scott Wedgewood. It would not surprise me if Wedgewood gets the start again after his 22-save night.
