The Colorado Avalanche had an interesting year for 2015 as then eased toward their 20th season in the state. Discover the highlights of 2015.

We’re already one week into 2016, and it’s already been a pretty good year. We saw right wing Jarome Iginla score his 600th goal against the LA Kings. And we saw center Matt Duchene get named to the All Star team.

However, there’s still time to reflect back on the year 2015. It was an event-filled year that saw their 19th season end and their 20th begin. There were a lot of lows — defenseman Erik Johnson having his career season cut short with knee surgery, the Colorado Avalanche failing to make the playoffs, and the Ryan O’Reilly situation finally getting resolved with a trade.

There were definitely highs to the year as well. Without further adieu, let’s look at the top 10 moments of 2015.
