2015 NHL Draft: Full 7 Rounds for Colorado Avalanche
In the 2015 NHL Draft the Colorado Avalanche have six draft picks in the seven rounds, having traded away their fifth round pick to Montreal with P.A. Parenteau in exchange for Daniel Briere.
Here at Mile High Sticking we have completed two complete first round mock drafts:
Beichler’s Full 1st Round Mock Draft
Archuleta’s Full 1st Round Mock Draft
We also participated in the site-wide first round of draft picks.
Now, we feel it’s time to go the full seven rounds for the Colorado Avalanche. As a twist, fellow co-editors Nadia Archuleta and Janik Beichler give their preferences for each round of the 2015 NHL Draft.

Avalanche GM Joe Sakic stated the team was going to select the best player available in the first round and pick for need after that. I’ll base my selections on who I’d like to see the Avalanche be able to pick first and who I think Sakic and Patrick Roy, et al, will choose in the later rounds.
