Colorado Avalanche get memorabilia into Hockey Hall of Fame
You can now see some more history of the Colorado Avalanche at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Canada following the team’s historic season.
After the Colorado Avalanche defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Final, the team has been recognized by the Pro Hockey Hall of Fame.
Now alongside the likes of Rob Blake, Ray Bourque, Joe Sakic, Peter Forsberg, and Patrick Roy, are several items from the team’s historic Stanley Cup season. Among the items that are now displayed there are star center Nathan MacKinnon’s jersey, left winger Arturri Lehkonen’s stick and the helmet worn by center Alex Newhook.

One of the most talked-about players in all of hockey, Cale Makar, was also recognized in the Hall of Fame, as Makar’s name was engraved into both the Conn Smythe Trophy and the Norris Trophy.
Making it into any hall of fame, whether you play in the NHL, NFL, or NBA, is the goal of so many professional athletes. I can only imagine how these players are feeling now that they have something in the Hall of Fame. The fact that the NHL Hall of Fame has recognized the Avalanche is truly amazing.
As we continue to wait on several things to play out prior to the 2022 training camp, we can now say that this team is immortalized forever and among one of the best teams in NHL history. I can say that I am truly amazed by how the Avalanche came together during this season and postseason to pull off some remarkable victories—none greater than against the reigning back-to-back Stanley Cup Champions Tampa Bay Lightning.
Going forward, the Avalanche will have one goal in mind: Trying to make sure that they are the ones holding up the trophy at the end of the year. They’ve got their core intact for the most part, and there will likely be some hiccups, but they’re not out of it until they are.
