The Colorado Avalanche social media team keeps asking the important questions. This time, they got Pierre-Edouard Bellemare to declare his love of dancing.

The Colorado Avalanche are trying to keep us entertained while the world is on pause. To keep our morale up, let’s consider one of the funnier video compilations the team makes — Ask the Avs.

We’ve seen a few of these types of videos. The premise is always the same — the team poses a silly question and the players have fun with it. For instance, we recently took an in-depth look at which player would drink White Claw. (Hint: He’s Russian.)

Today, we’re looking at dancing, and

Pierre-Edouard Bellemare

is into it. Unfortunately, he’s not into the two dancing styles the team proposes — the Dab or the Floss.

Belly wants to know why people can’t put a little more effort into their dancing.

"“Come on, get it nice like dance moves instead of Floss.”"

In fact, Bellemare offers a couple suggestions: “The Slide, or Two-Step. Something else than just the Floss.”

No, really, he has a strong opinion on the matter:

"“Some kids do creative stuff. Now, people think ‘Ok, now I just do the Floss and I’m cool’. So, remove this thing.”"

And then he talked about what he really wanted to do:

"“I have to wait for when I’m in the club, get some music. I’m not really shy, and I don’t really care if I look like a fool.”"

I would pay cash money to see Belly dance.

Meanwhile, here are the results of the question “What is worse, the Dab or the Floss?:

Dab: Gabriel Landeskog

Floss: Ian Cole, Cale Makar, Nazem Kadri, Matt Calvert (because he can’t do it)

Cole actually thinks the Dab has been around so long it’s vintage. Pavel Francouz can do both.

Tyson Jost, meanwhile, thinks both get a bad rap. He half-dabbed. Joonas Donskoi went full dab. No one flossed but, if you look in the dark recesses of Twitter, you can find video of Erik Johnson flossing. Hint: It was at Halloween.

Kadri dancing at his wedding is here.

Our lovable curmudgeon, JT Compher, hates both. Interesting, everyone’s favorite space cadet, Colin Wilson, is also not a fan of either. Nor is Mark Barberio.

I’m with the captain on this one. The Dab is just so old. At least the Floss takes a little bit of skill.

And I definitely agree with Belly. When I go to Colorado Avalanche games and I see fans getting down, I just love it.

What about you, Avs Nation? Which “dance move” do you think is more annoying?
