The Colorado Avalanche went into the All-Star break with another win. We look back at the team’s social media highlights over the past two weeks.
Following a solid win against the St Louis Blues the Colorado Avalanche social media team treated us to some behind the scenes celebrations. It was nice to see some of the injured and scratched players there to congratulate their teammates. Also spotted were Erik Johnson and Sam Girard clearly conspiring about something, and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare giving J.T. Compher a lovely, tender, hug.
Big Saturday win!#GoAvsGo https://t.co/IHzGPOCitR

It’s Cale Makar‘s first full season with the Avalanche and he’s already breaking franchise records.
Cale Makar scored his 11th goal of the season, a franchise record for a rookie defenseman.

With 35 points, he's also tied for the NHL rookie scoring lead.#GoAvsGo pic.twitter.com/mqZiUA9XKA
With another matinee game ahead of them we were treated to some more morning suit photos. Ian Cole is definitely rocking the professor look here.

I am a particular fan of Ryan Graves‘ powder blue suit.
Meanwhile Andre Burakovsky apparently decided looking at his phone was more important than smirking at the camera. Of course the media team blamed Nikita Zadorov.
Burky has *clearly* been talking to Z about that good Instagram #content.

A familiar face was back at Pepsi Center as Patrik Nemeth made his first visit since signing with the Detroit Red Wings. Something was missing though…
NO BACKPACK??

WHAT IS THIS!? #GoAvsGo https://t.co/2RCOpsgNDe
Hockey is a physical game but Andre Burakovsky seem to be getting hit in the face a lot lately. Obviously the media team were concerned about the most important thing.
Can everybody please STOP trying to ruin the #BurkySmirk?

Scoring goals is always fun, and Nathan MacKinnon got so excited after one of his that he lost his mouthguard. Luckily the team rallied to help him find it.
MacKinnon’s mouthguard.

Gravy found it, don’t worry! https://t.co/vUFVpZJ5ju https://t.co/GaNLf5lQzK
It’s fun when player’s get mic’d up, and it’s even more fun when the media team does something like this with the footage.
Remember when we mic’d up Calvy for a PeeWee practice?

Well, he pretty much never stopped making random sounds... so we compiled the best for you.#GoAvsGo https://t.co/kfB5EzkXoR
Kudos to the media team for getting fans engaged and excited to be talking about the team. Coming third here is a pretty impressive achievement, especially when you look at some of the fan bases they’ve come ahead of.

After Dolly Parton started a new meme everyone was quick to join in and make their own. Of course the Avalanche had to be part of the fun.

Philipp Grubauer is also rocking this particularly fine hat.
A new month means a new puppy calendar and this time it was Ian Cole’s turn

After a loss against the Philadelphia Flyers the Colorado Avalanche are continuing their road trip with games against the Buffalo Sabres, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets and Minnesota Wild
On a personal note I am headed to Denver myself next weekend to take in the sights and see a few games so there may be a slight delay to the next Post to Post feature. If you see me around (look for the redhead with an English accent) feel free to say hello.
