The Colorado Avalanche fought valiantly but were eliminated from the playoffs in the final game of the series. We look back at some of the best social media posts of that week.
As the Colorado Avalanche readied themselves for a winner takes all game six we were treated to what turned out to be our last selection of suit pics from Pepsi Center this season.

This photo of Erik Johnson was taken earlier in the week but since itโs rare to see a photo of him where heโs not hiding from the camera it needs to be shared.
The excitement was clearly palpable as the team took to the ice.
Okay this photo of Tyson is amazing. https://t.co/4MSWoQDc6W

When the team returned to Denver it was time to look back over what was, all things considered, a pretty incredible season for the team.
Waking up this morning, we can still feel the disappointment.

As a way of getting the fans involved the social media team asked what peopleโs favorite moment of the season was. They then compiled the best responses and put them into a Twitter Moment.

Although the players are now officially done for the summer (with the exception of those representing their countries at the World Championship) the media teamโs work isnโt over. The draft is rapidly approaching, and soon after that comes free agency.
So, while they have offered their thanks to us for their support, I want to extend my thanks to them for providing such great content this season. Theyโve kept us informed and included, and itโs been fun too.
The ride ended far too soon, but your support was so incredible all season long.
