The Colorado Avalanche are currently fighting for a playoffs spot. We look at the best social media posts of the past week.

It’s always interesting to see what happens behind the scenes of Colorado Avalanche games. I was listening to the radio when Colin Wilson was interviewed and later we got a little glimpse of what that looks like.

The media team clearly knows that Wilson is popular, and that him wearing just his under armor would also be popular.

As the team returned from Anaheim we were treated to more suit pics, and we spent a fun time trying to identify players from the backs of their heads.

Ahead of the game against Detroit the guys decided to all go for matching black suits, which looked so great.

The media team are always so happy when they get good #TysonTuesday content and apparently both Tysons are now aware of this.

There’s so much discussion about Tyson Barrie and whether he should be traded. It’s always satisfying to me when he makes good plays.

Following the win against the Detroit Red Wings the social media team put together this excellent version of the goal celebration. Gabe Landeskog enjoyed it so much he retweeted it.

After Wilson became aware that his green suit was popular with the fans he decided to switch it up for the next game with a burgundy suit and more casual open neck shirt.

When the team was in Dallas they decided to have some fun with the fact that the door to the ice sticks.

Unfortunately right after the bad loss in Dallas news came that Gabe would be out 4-6 weeks with an injury.

But despite this news the media team were trying to keep everyone upbeat and positive ahead of the next game.

As well as being aware of the popularity of his suits, Colin Wilson is also apparently aware that the photo of him in his under armor was also very popular.

Ryan Graves is also proving popular with fans, especially on Tumblr, so he’s getting more attention.

The mystery of Patrik Nemethβ€˜s backpack continues.

Matt Calvert has finally ditched the mullet. I, for one, am glad to see it gone.

Colin Wilson is now actively seeking feedback on his suits now.

Tyson Barrie was wearing the A while Gabe is injured.

After the win against Buffalo Mikko Rantanen kept alive the tradition of waiting until last to get off the ice and high fiving the rest of the team. Usually he and Gabe do this together.

Derick Brassard opted for a more casual look at the optional practice today.
