Colorado Avalanche rinkside reporter and Altitude TV analyst Lauren Gardner will be leaving for a new career opportunity.

The Colorado Avalanche are saying goodbye to Lauren Gardner. For me LG has been an inspiration that you can follow your dreams no matter how big or small they are. She showed me that your dreams can change along the way as well and grow with your personal progress.

Lauren is one of the most down to Earth and kind people I have had the privilege of meeting and having a genuine conversation with. She is the kind of person that makes you feel like you are old friends, even if you are just meeting her for the first time.  She has an energy about her that makes you feel happy, along with her infectious smile.

I know after watching Lauren through the last few season that she will be missed by everyone that has come into contact with her. She has made watching Altitude so much fun and her personality has really shined on and off screen. We have seen her personality in thing as small as her pizza shoes.

I know Lauren will do great things with her career even after seeing her for a short period of time. She is irreplaceable to Avs fans and to the altitude crew as we have seen on twitter. Whatever she has in store for her future, she will kill it.

dark. Next. MacKinnon's Beautiful OT Goal

This is my open thanks to LG for her time with the Avalanche, I know I have really enjoyed watching her fun segments and interviews. She makes the players and crews smile more then we have seen from any other on air personality. So thank you Lauren, Congratulations on your opportunity,  and good luck.

We will miss you!
