The Colorado Avalanche plan to spend their bye week resting and regrouping. We look at the best social media posts of the past week.

Despite the recent losses the Colorado Avalanche are still producing some pretty impressive numbers.

The day after their 7-1 win against the LA Kings the media team are still impressed by this goal scored by Mikko Rantanen while doing the splits.

While I’m sure Tyson Barrie and Colin Wilson didn’t pose like this deliberately for the photo it’s framed perfectly with their sticks crossed between them while they’re talking.

The Tumblr content is a bit more lighthearted, which is always fun.

Even though taking photos of the team is a big part of their job, it’s cute that they still get excited when a photo turns out well.

The media team are making sure that the players get the correct credit for their social media activity.

While Erik Johnson is undergoing concussion protocol Tyson Barrie is wearing the A in his place.

After a break for a few weeks the Avalanche podcast is back, with Alexander Kerfoot as a guest. It’s really interesting listening to him talk about hockey, and college hockey in particular. It’s definitely worth a listen.

One of the things I really love about the Avalanche media team is how excited they get by fan-created content.

I’m not sure if they’re just excited because Sven Andrighetto is actually wearing socks for once, or because his socks match his tie. Either way I love this.

While the media team continue with their excellent fan engagement they do like to have fun with people who are also fans of other teams.

I’m easily amused and Barrie puns always make me smile.

Things got physical towards the end of the game against the Minnesota Wild. The media team were, of course, cheering things on.
