The Colorado Avalanche bounced back from their road trip with a huge win. We look at their social media highlights of the past week.
As the Colorado Avalanche readied themselves to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs the media team was having a bit of fun with it.

Nikita Zadorov returned to the lineup and joined in the current trend of warming up without a helmet.

Something I’ve noticed the media team doing more recently, on Tumblr in particular, is sharing fan-made content. It’s a great way of continuing to build the relationship between fans and the team.
I really do enjoy listening to Marc Moser getting excited when things happen on the ice. Söderberg’s reaction to his hat trick just makes this even more funny.
Moser (and the team!) are exponentially more excited than Carl Soderberg about his first career hat trick.

And that is absolutely fitting. #GoAvsGo https://t.co/GOv4tsXcdt
Tyson Barrie was clearly excited by the hat trick too.

We don’t often see Carl Söderberg featured on social media as he is apparently quite a shy person. He’s doing some great things on the ice at the moment and it’s nice to see a little more of him.

This is a perfect example of the Avalanche changing their tone depending on what platform they’re using.

Very different to the caption they included on Instagram.
I honestly love the fact that, every time there is an opportunity to make this joke, the media team goes there.
Mikko Rantanen has 69 points, tied for second in the NHL.

This video really highlights the height difference between Alexander Kerfoot and Erik Johnson.

Nothing like celebrating a 7-1 win with a good pun.
We love when Tyson Barries it.#GoAvsGo https://t.co/kxCkV8a8jB

I really love the framing of this photo. It looks like a book cover or a movie poster.
After scoring the first goal of the game Carl found himself the subject of social media again.

The Avs have two more games at home before the All-Star Game, which should give us some excellent social media content with the top line in attendance. We’ll be back next week to feature the highlights.
