The Colorado Avalanche have finally broken their six game losing streak. We look at some of the best social media posts of the past week.
The Colorado Avalanche social media team are always willing to poke a bit of good-natured fun at team captain Gabriel Landeskog. It’s things like this that keeps the spirits of fans up during a losing streak.

Mikko Rantanen is not immune from this either.

Gabriel Landeskog took some time during warm-ups to have a little dance on the ice.
Think Landy chose this song?

The Avalanche started the new year by reviewing their most popular Instagram posts. It’s not surprising that most of them are from the playoffs qualifying game at the end of the last season.

We haven’t seen much of Colin Wilson since he was injured two weeks ago. It was good to see him on the ice for practice even if it’s in a no-contact jersey.
Good to see!#GoAvsGo pic.twitter.com/hiQCdltNVs

Mikko Rantanen has been named as member of this year’s All-Star roster. Any chance to sing his song again…

Colin Wilson has been named this year’s Colorado Avalanche Hockey Is For Everyone ambassador. Although the title doesn’t appear to have much in the way of practical implications it’s definitely a perfect fit for Wilson, who was one of the few players to use Pride tape during last year’s Hockey is for Everyone game. He is calm, mature, and a self-proclaimed liberal.

As part of this role he spent the day at the Try Blind Hockey For Free Clinic.

It’s been a while since we featured any suit photos so I would like to take a moment to appreciate this pinstripe that Tyson Jost is wearing.

Last week Tyson Barrie beat the franchise record for number of assists by a defenseman. He now also holds the franchise record for most number of points by a defenseman.
RECORD-BREAKING.

The social media team has been campaigning for votes to get Gabriel Landeskog added to the All-Star roster alongside Central Division Captain Nathan Mackinnon, and Mikko Rantanen. After building momentum over the past few days they have finally brought out the big guns.
