The Colorado Avalanche enter the festive break in a playoff position. We look at some of the social media highlights of the past week.

The week started with the Avalanche talking about their gaming habits. Tyson Jost has become a Fortnite widow.

Being abandoned for Fortnite hasn’t stopped Tyson from heading into the game with his best mate, though. Here he is looking sharp in a new suit complete with waistcoat.

Tyson Barrie has reached a franchise record for number of assists and is set to smash through this by the end of the season.

Gabriel Landeskog out there teaching us all about the importance of hydration.

J.T. Compher and Gabriel Bourque spent some time at a school as part of the TeamFIT initiative.

Gabriel Landeskog was happy when, after a video review, his goal against the Canadiens was declared a good goal.

Tyson Barrie, J.T. Compher and Gabriel Landeskog were taken bowling by Kyle Keefe for an Altitude 360 feature. It gave us some social media gems.

Prior to Friday’s game against the Blackhawks Gabriel Landeskog decided he was suddenly camera shy. I can only presume this is Erik Johnson‘s influence.

Lauren Gardner was sporting an excellent festive jacket.

It wasn’t popular with everyone though.

Sometimes frustration at the game bleeds onto the Avalanche twitter which is always amusing.

Saturday’s game against the Coyotes featured a lot of references to the Christmas movie Elf. It’s one of my favorite holiday movies so this was a source of particular joy for me.
