Jarome Iginla

Jarome Iginla was the Avalanche’s top scorer in the 2014-15 season, recording 29 goals and 59 points. The prior season, Iginla did almost the same, scoring 30 goals and 61 points. Now that he is 38 years old, it seems unlikely for him to shoot past that number again. Playing with Duchene, he may get to around 60 one more time.

2014-15 point total: 59 points

2015-16 projection: 55 points

Alex Tanguay

Alex Tanguay is the other one of the Colorado Avalanche’s veterans on the first line. In 2014-15, he wasn’t quite as good as Iginla, but he also isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. If some other players get a chance to play on the first line with Duchene, Tanguay may end up getting less than last year’s 55 points.

2014-15 point total: 55 points

2015-16 projection: 50 points
