Goalie. Barrie Colts, OHL. Mackenzie Blackwood. 71. player. 103. Blackwood is a solid butterfly goalie with a cool head. He’d be a boon for the Avalanche to have at goalie depth.
Janik’s selection:
Conor Garland. 71. player. 103. Conor Garland may be considered a reach here. However, if you really want a player, you have to reach for him sometimes — he may be gone by the time you’re on the clock again. Garland was tied for the CHL scoring lead with no other than top 5 pick Dylan Strome. The only concern is his size, but several players have proven that size isn’t everything. <a href=. Right wing.
