Emily Prentiss, who now works for Interpol, has a lot to say about Minnesota Wild coach Mike Yeo.
"“He’s clearly the ringleader of the group. He’s a little man with a Napolean complex. You can see it in his attachment to his goatee.”"
You can also see it in the meltdowns he had earlier in the year. In fact, there was one point when he yelled expletives at his own players and stomped out of a practice. At another time he asked the NHL if a team could turn down a power play opportunity since his team’s was so bad.

Computer wiz Penelope Garcia whips up a few stats,
"“In Yeo’s years as an NHL coach, he’s won no awards or trophies, no conference titles, no Stanley Cups. He got to be part of a Stanley Cup winning team once, in 2009, as an assistant coach.”"
Prentiss opines that this is the reason Yeo has delusions of grandeur. “That’s also where his insecurity comes from. Compare that to a real coach who has accomplishments both as a player and a coach.” She mentions the Colorado Avalanche head coach by name.
Garcia accesses her stats and quickly rambles off, “Patrick Roy: Four Stanley Cup rings, three-time Vezina Trophy winner, three-time Conn Smythe Trophy winner, five-time Jennings Trophy winner for fewest goals allowed, 11 All Star games, two NHL teams retired his number, inductee into the Hockey Hall of Fame and he won the Jack Adams Trophy for coaching his rookie year. Oh, and he helped the Avalanche win the Central Division last year.”
Prentiss just shakes her head. “His confidence is evident even in his lush beard. But Yeo and his goatee… he’s sure to suffer a stressor right along with his goalie.”
