The Colorado Avalanche haven’t had a 30-goal scorer since Joe Sakic and Milan Hejduk in 2006-2007. Ryan O’Reilly came close last year, putting the puck in the net 28 times, but ultimately fell shy of the 30 goal mark.
Enter Jarome Iginla.
The Avs off-season addition scored 30 goals last year with the Boston Bruins and has put up 30 goals or more in 12 of his 17 years in the NHL.
Iginla is one of the most prolific goal scorers in NHL history, posting 560 goal in his career thus far. The Avalanche signed him to a three year deal worth $16 million in the off-season hoping that he would continue his goal scoring ways in the burgundy and blue.
So in this weeks poll question we ask Colorado Avalanche nation: can Jarome Iginla crack 30-goals once again?
