Last night in the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Wild looked to avoid going down 0-3 while the Bruins and Canadiens broke their 1-1 deadlock.
Boston Bruins – 2 Montreal Canadiens – 4 (Canadiens lead series 2-1)
*Carey Price made 26 saves while P.K. Subban scored a goal and added an assist to take game three in Montreal. The Canadiens led 3-1 in the third and nearly blew the lead again as Jarome Iginla scored with just under three minutes left but managed to hold on and ice things with a Lars Eller empty net goal.
Chicago Blackhawks – 0 Minnesota Wild -4 (Blackhawks lead series 2-1)
*Ilya Bryzgalov recorded his first shutout of the postseason, making 19 saves in victory. Minnesota’s win snapped Chicago’s six game playoff winning streak and helped them avoid a sweep. Mikael Granlund scored two goals as Minnesota remained undefeated at home in the playoffs.
