The Ducks looked to salvage a split in Anaheim while the Rangers and Penguins played a back-to-back as the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs continued.

Pittsburgh Penguins – 2 New York Rangers – 0 (Penguins lead series 2-1)

*Marc-Andre Fleury recorded his second straight shutout in as many nights, making 35 saves to give the Penguins the series lead. Sidney Crosby broke out of his playoff slump as well, scoring his first goal of the postseason, while Jussi Jokinen added the other goal, his fifth of the playoffs.

Los Angeles Kings – 3 Anaheim Ducks – 1 (Kings lead series 2-0)

*Jonathan Quick made 36 saves to give the Kings their sixth straight victory since being down 0-3 in the first round. Marian Gaborik, who scored the game-tying and game-winning goals in game one, put the puck in the net once again, scoring just 34 seconds into the game.
