Cody McLeod Has An In-Peson Meeting

Well that didn’t take long.

Colorado Avalanche winger Cody McLeod has been offered an in-person hearing to explain his hit, a boarding major and a misconduct, that resulted in Detroit Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall being stretchered off the ice.

Kronwall ended up staying in the arena following the hit, but has a mild concussion and lacerations to his ear. There’s been no decision on when the hearing will take place.In my opinion, it’s pretty cut and dry. I doubt McLeod went in there with that intended result, but he could see the back of Kronwall’s jersey the whole way. He should have eased up from the get-go.Here’s the video:
