March 22nd Water Cooler Chatter: The Stakes Are High!

(Photo: HFBoards.com)

Well it was previously mentioned but worth repeating since their is a little extra importance to the Avalanche game tonight. Being as there are only eleven games remaining and the Avalanche are well out of the playoffs I must make my own fun so today Mary O’Malley, Fire That Cannon, and myself made a wager based on the winner of tonights game. I would really like a top two draft pick but if the Avs win only one more game I hope it is this one! I would also like to say as much as I love New York, that is where I have lived my whole life, this weather is ridiculous. It is hot and sunny today and we are getting snow tomorrow. I visited Denver for a week back in January and desperately would like to go back.
