Today is the 36th Birthday of one of the greatest Avalanche players of all time, Darcy Tucker. Of course I’m exaggerating and Tucker was quite detested during his two seasons with the Avalanche. In those two years Tucker played in 134 games and had 40 points. Personally I was a fan of Tucker. Despite the fact his productive seasons were way behind him, he was a good leader, and a good teacher for the younger Avs. Some of the things the Avalanche now miss the most can be found in a guy like Tucker.
