Official 3rd Jersey of the Colorado Avalanche

Well, it’s official. The rumored photoshop picture of what the Colorado Avalanche’s 3rd jersey was going to look like is accurate. The team unveiled their 3rd jersey today, with Kyle Quincey and Paul Stastny modeling them in their full gear. The Avs will wear the jersey’s 12 times this season, with the first coming in 2 days.

Milan Hejduk missed another game with a sore back. Hopefully he gets back soon – he may help us get out of this mini slump we’re in .

The Colorado Avalanche and the Chicago Blackhawks have met three times so far this season, with Chicago edging the Avs 2-1. In their three games, they’ve gone through 20 rounds of the shoot-out. I’m sure that has to be an NHL record.
